War and Order Resource Guide
This War and Order resource guide will focus on helping you keep your precious resources protected without having to do anything. You will learn how to keep a protected supply of resources also. Lastly you will learn how to scale up your War and Order resource farming.
One of the most important things in War and Order aside from troops is your resources. They are a valuable asset that are always sought after by many. Sadly, we don’t always have the gems required to keep those precious resources protected. I know I have lost a significant amount due to silly mistakes. Here you will learn from my mistakes.
The first way you get resources in War and Order is through gathering. This is the most common method. You should always have gather troops out if you are not fighting. A little trick when you have reached VIP 7 is to activate it for one hour before you send your gather troops out. Even if the VIP expires your troops will still gather those resources until they are all collected or your troops capacity is filled. This War and Order Resource Guide is going to take things a few steps further, keep reading to learn more.
Best Troops to Use for Gathering
You will want to use cavalry for gathering because they can carry the biggest load. You don’t need to have the highest tier cavalry either. Tier 2 cavalry will suffice. They are cheaper to make and training times will be lower. If you are attacked by another player, your low level cavalry are likely to die. By recruiting the tier 2 troops, it will be easier, cheaper, and faster to replace the losses.
Once you reach a castle level of 26 you may opt to start training and using tier 4 cavalry. This would be a personal choice. You want to take your current resource needs into consideration as it will cost more resources to train these troops. The load amount increase between tier 2 and tier 4 cavalry is minimal. Unless you have the extra time and resources to spare, it may be best to stick with the tier 2.
You do not want to train a large amount of odd tier cavalry for the sake of gathering. The odd tier cavalry troops in War and Order have a smaller load limit than the even tier. Think of it as Dragon Riders carry more, humans carry less.
Keeping Resources Protected in War and Order
As mentioned, this War and Order resource guide will explain how to keep a protected supply of resources. This method should be started as soon as possible. The best method for protecting your resources in War and Order does not necessarily mean having a bigger depot. You should level your depot as often as possible. Your depot level does help to prevent more resources from being taken from you if you are attacked and defeated.
The best way to keep a steady supply of protected resources is to save your resource packs. These are the packs you get from killing monsters, doing the rare daily quests, and from gem pack purchases. Do not spend these under any circumstance. The sooner you start saving them, the better. If you were to save all of your packs and kill at least 10 monsters per day, by the time you reach level 22 you would have about 10 million of wood and 10 million of food. That is not to mention the several million in stone and iron that you would have as well.
The same technique should be used with your gems. When you get gem rewards that go into your inventory, you should save them for times of need. There may be a time when you need an emergency elite teleport. These gems may be your way out.
Hoarding Your Rewards
The above method probably sounds simple enough and it can really add up. If you combine the above resource hoarding method with this next one, you will never run short of resources. The next method literally requires you to do nothing. It is really that simple.
When you join an alliance and their territory is large enough, you will start receiving daily resource rewards based on your alliance territory size. The bigger the territory, the more the rewards. Also note that the higher your rank in the alliance, the bigger your resource rewards. An example of this is as an alliance leader I would get 500k wood and food, where my members would get about 250k wood and food. So if you can earn an elite or officer position in your alliance it is even more effective.
The rule here is to not open the mails containing the territory resource rewards. The mails don’t expire, and as long as you don’t delete them you will have a steady supply of wood and food at your disposal. You won’t get the stone and iron from this method, but you can focus your gathering efforts on those two resources to make up the difference.
Which Resources Are Most Important
This War and Order Resource Guide means to cover all your bases including letting you know where you should focus your efforts when it comes to collecting resources. Each resource plays a big role. Each troop type and level requires its own amount of a certain resource type.
However, when it comes to getting past castle level 18 you will really want to focus on stockpiling your stone and iron. You can start saving and gathering iron at level 15 and should start building a steady supply right away. A total of 6 stone mines and iron mines are allowed in your castle. You can delete some of your wood and food tiles in your castle.
What works well is reducing the amount of Training Grounds in your castle. This means you will train less troops at one time and the training time will be a bit slower. But you can make room for the additional resource mines. The troop training will not effect you in any serious way. It may mean you have to train troops one extra time per day, but after you start training tier 6 troops, the training times really get long. Some people have training times of over a day. So a few less training grounds won’t make a big difference.
Yes, this is a War and Order Resource Guide, but the following is an important note. Do not sacrifice medical tents under any circumstance. You hospital capacity is crucial to your success. If you delete your medical tents, you lower your hospitals troop capacity which means you will lose more troops if you lose a defensive attack.
Now you have a better understanding on how to keep a protected supply of resources in your castle. There are some advanced techniques including making farms in which a guide will be posted soon. Farming can go one of two ways. You have the casual farm and the hardcore farmer. Personally, I was the hardcore farmer. An advanced guide will be created explaining how I managed to have a constant supply of 100 million wood 100 million food, 20 million stone and 6 million iron. That is a story for another time though.
This War and Order Resource Guide is meant to get you started on your way to keeping your resources in your castle. A good motto is to “Take Everything and Give them Nothing.” Using the methods mentioned in this guide will require a little self discipline but if you manage to keep saving those packs and territory bonuses, you won’t have to go far for resources ever again.
