Master Your Territory Defense Event in War and Order
Welcome to the War and Order territory defense monsters guide. This guide will give you the basic understanding to start ranking in the territory defense event in War and Order. Keep in mind that you will need at least 15 active members online in your alliance to do well. If you have more then you are only going to do better. At the end of the guide will be some helpful reminders about the event.
What is the War and Order Territory Defense Monsters Event?
During the War and Order territory defense monsters event you and your alliance must defend your flags. You defend flags by sending reinforcements to the ones that are blinking red. You can also see which flags are about to be attacked by clicking on the incoming attacks warning you receive from your watchtower. This warning flashes on the lower right section of your screen.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that your flags will lose health (defense), you want to make sure to defend the flags that have the lowest defense. These are at the highest risk of being destroyed.
The Method that Works
The War and Order territory defense monsters each have a certain weakness and strength against different troop types. Prior to starting the event you want to have your alliance members set some preset marches so they are ready for whichever monster they need to be ready for.
The higher level your troops, the less importance these presets will have. If you want to defeat more waves, then you will want to set up your presets. If you are just looking to get in the top 10, then you can get by with regular marches.
Monster Event Defense Strategy
You will have a few minutes before the first two flags get attacked from Wave 1. You want to have everyone send reinforcements to the two flags that are being attacked. It is also wise to have anyone who is planning on logging off during the event to send some troops to a few flags near the ones that are being attacked. This will help add some extra muscle while everyone else stack defends.
Once the flags defenses are full additional troops will be sent back to their senders castle. Everyone participating needs to pay attention to this. It is a waste of time during the bigger waves to have troops running around doing nothing. Once the flags defenses are full everyone needs to watch the attack timers and coordinate with the flag health to determine priority. Match your march times to the march times of the monsters and send reinforcements to match the attack.
If you notice a flag is lower health and is currently in a “Battling” status, you can still send reinforcements to join the fight. The more people you have attacking a monster at one time, the sooner it will go down and the sooner you can move on to the next one.
Keep Going and Don’t Lose Focus
Just rinse and repeat this method and always be sending defenses to the lowest health flags. You can send out 3 to 4 marches. If you have 4 marches and VIP 7 then you can send out a total of 5 marches. This means you can defend 5 flags. Try to get two or three marches to a flag where you don’t have to keep sending those troops out and you can focus on sending two good marches to the ones who need it most.
Also it is very helpful to have 1 person designated to calling out emergency flags. This person should type the coordinates of the flag that needs the most attention. Once they call out the flag in need, everyone (and I mean everyone) needs to get a march to that flag right away.
Also, do not forget to heal your troops. The person calling out the flags in need should also be reminding others to “heal and help.” This keeps everyone going with max troops, which will only help you secure a better ranking.
Ranking in the Event
The goal is to get past as many waves of monsters as you can. Each wave brings on more monsters. You will eventually be fighting monsters from two or even three waves at the same time before the event is over.
The longer you last the more points you will get. The points you receive determines your ranking on the realm. The points are added up and a temporary ranking is given during the event as well as at the end. The end of the week determines the final ranking and rewards.
Some things to keep in mind with the defense event
- Your flags do not take permanent damage
- Your flags cannot be attacked by other players during the event
- Castles can be attacked during the event
- Troops are only injured during the event (unless your hospital capacity is at max)
- March speed is increased substantially during the event.
The territory defense event in War and Order is a fun way to get your alliance more active and involved. Everyone gets to show off their abilities and it is also good training for stack defense. A good idea is to hold the event on the same day and time each week. This allows everyone in the alliance to predict when they will need to be online.
