War and Order Guide for Territory Defense
That headline sure is a mouth full. But for those of you looking for a War and Order guide for the territory defense event then look no further. The video guide posted here will explain how you can increase your ranking during your alliance territory defense event.
There is another guide that explains the territory defense monsters. There will be a link posted at the bottom of this page so be sure to check it out.
Territory Defense Success Factors
To do well in the defense event, you must keep your alliance flags defended. This means continuously sending reinforcements to the lowest health flags. The beginning of the event is a little slow paced, but it picks up speed after monster wave 5 or 6. The difficulty will also depend on the amount of active participants.
As you get to the higher level waves, the monster levels increase. You want to have as many players online during your territory defense event as possible. It is good practice to have a set schedule for a certain time and day each week. With a schedule you will be able to better predict your player headcount and turnout.
Getting Past Wave Seven
Once you get past wave seven (if you are in a decent size alliance) you will notice that it is harder to clear all the monsters before the next wave starts. When this happens, you want to be sure that you are sending all of your marches to the lowest health flags. You can see in the War and Order guide video where to click and see flag health.
When a monster dies, you should not leave your troops in the flag reinforcing. It is good practice to recall those troops and send them to the next lowest health flag. If everyone does this it will create an endless cycle of troops defending the flags that need it most.
What is the point?
Eventually you won’t be able to keep up and one flag will reach zero. The goal is to get to the highest wave you can. A side goal is personal points. You get rewards for your personal contribution during the event. The more damage you do the more points you will get. When you see the end of the video you will notice I received 800 free gems for my efforts. I also got a bunch of wood and food..yay!
Wrapping up the War and Order Guide on Territory Defense
Several topics have been covered regarding the territory defense event. If you haven’t looked at the monster descriptions and troop settings you can click the following link: War and Order Guide Territory Defense Monsters.
The event is a ton of fun and don’t take it to serious. You don’t lose troops (unless your hospital is full), and your flags don’t actually get destroyed. All flag health resets to full after the event is complete. It’s also great bragging rights if you rank in the top 3 as an alliance. Definitely something to be proud of your team for.
