The Ghost Recon Wildlands gameplay with the assault playstyle is one that commands action. The assault player will typically rush into a hot zone with guns ready. If you want to go with the assault playstyle in Ghost Recon Wildlands then here are some things you should keep in mind.
You need to be quick. There will be bullets flying at you from all directions, so you have to move fast. Utilize the cover in the game. With boxes, forklifts, buildings, and vehicles spread out all over the place you should take advantage of them and use them to hide from incoming fire. Be careful with your movement and choices though, you are a moving target and you can die easily if you are careless.
The assault playstyle in Wildlands can definitely make the game more exciting. It can also make it more frustrating as well. There are snipers everywhere, so be sure to have a plan in place for either taking them down or avoiding them. It would be a wise decision to keep a decent sniper rifle on hand for such an occasion. Weapons of Choice:
Assault Rifle –
The G2 or the MK17- The G2 has the highest rate of fire while the MK17 puts out the most damage.
MK17 is located at Flor de Oro
G2 is located in Inca Camina
Light Machine Gun –
The MK48 which has a balanced damage and rate of fire, or the MK249 is another good choice.
MK48 is located in Espiritu Santo
MK249 is located in Malca
Sniper Rifle (to keep on standby) –
The MSR is a great choice here. It provides range and silence, use it to take down snipers before you start the party.
MSR is located in Montuyoc
An automatic sidearm is always helpful. You can use the Skorpion if you want a quick fire rate. If you want power, go with the D-50.
Skorpion is located at Remanzo
D-50 is located at Libertad
Ghost Recon Wildlands Gameplay Tips – Assault Playstyle Skills
Bullet Resistance should be at the top of your list. This will allow you to take more damage.
Stamina is going to be an important skill. It will allow you to sprint longer distances, thus avoid more bullets.
Ammo Capacity will give you more bullets and more bullets means more killing. You get the point…
Grenade Launcher will come in handy when you need to stop traffic (convoys, helicopters), this works as a weapon addon with assault rifles.
Squad Resilience is a good skill for solo play. If you play solo, this will buff up your AI teams bullet resistance.
Frags and Flashbangs will always come in handy. You can blind your enemies with a flashbang, or take out an entire truck full of Unidad soldiers that just crashed your party.

The Assault Playstyle means you will be under heavy fire most of the time. The key to survival here is to use cover, get the right skills, and have the right weapons. Also, it doesn’t hurt to be quick on the trigger. Just don’t accidentally shoot to many civilians or you will have to start your mission over.
If you play smart and take enough time to preplan an attack, you should find yourself in a high adrenaline action packed gun fight. Malvicious from Malvicious PSN on Youtube likes to block points of entry with vehicles and essentially trap his targets.Using vehicles to block entractes can add some flavor to the assault playstyle.
Even though you are a heavy gunning, grenade throwing, tear your face off adrenaline junkie… You should still take a little time to plan out your attacks. You don’t need to mark the targets if you don’t want but get an idea of how many you’re up against. The assault playstyle in Ghost Recon Wildlands can be quite fun and rewarding once you figure it out.
